Counting the high card points as the hand proceeds gives us much needed clues to the defence. We usually know how within a narrow range how many points declarer has. Adding those points to dummy's and our own tells us how many points our partner is likely to have.
Deciding whether to be passive or aggressive needs to be evaluated every time you are on lead. Reduce the guesswork by making a more informed decision.
When dummy hits the table it is time to take stock. At this point in the play always evaluate the new information you have just gained.
We don't always have a clear good option to take when we are on lead and we have to decide between choices which could work out badly for our side. Thinking carefully about each option will help you make your decision and increase your chance of success.
