Why are they pitching all those spades?
We’re in 3NT and opponents have 15hcp split between them, so this is going to be tight. When East shows up with the ♣A, we can figure out where the ♦Q is – can you? This will tell us how to play the diamond suit. But after West pitches three spades, we need to take a moment to figure out the best route forward.
